Rafting in Baños
Rafting in Baños de Agua Santa is an incredible adventure!

The Pastaza River is very famous for rafting in Ecuador, with up to 5 hours of travel through the Amazon rainforest, located between the Llanganates Parks and the Sangay considered a Natural World Heritage Site.
All our equipment such as boats, vests, helmets, and oars are brand, which will make you feel totally safe during this great adventure.

After the tour we will stop for a well-deserved lunch, our guides are very focused on their safety and their fun.
The rafting tour will begin at the offices of Imagine Ecuador at 9:00 a.m. All the equipment to be used will be tested in the office, then a trip of approximately 40 minutes in a comfortable Van to the river. On the way there are several waterfalls and an incredible landscape that is part of the Sangay and Llanganates National Parks.
Upon arrival at the river, you will receive a safety talk in which rescue techniques will be explained, such as swimming in the river, and also the commands; all this will help you to feel safe and with great enthusiasm to descend the river.
After the rafting tour, the car will be waiting for you at the end of the section where you can change and then be taken to a nearby restaurant where lunch will be served before returning to Baños again. It will be back around 2:00 p.m.
The Pastaza River has two sections suitable for rafting. Level III + will be from La Penal to Madre Tierra and the other section is known as Alto Pastaza and goes from San Francisco to Topo.
Level III + can be run throughout the year, while level IV is open only during the summer, from September to February and sporadically in the winter season.
