Canyoning Baños

Canyoning is an incredible adventure sport practiced in the canyons or ravines of a river, in which very varied routes can be presented. There are also sections with little water flow and even dry.

The adventure allows you to move through the steep terrain of the canyon, which consists of basaltic rocks, small rivers, and waterfalls that descend from the pristine water that melts from the Tungurahua volcano.

The meeting point is at 9 am at the agency Imagine Ecuador in Baños. We will drive in a private car for approximately 20 minutes until we reach Río Blanco, where a technical talk will be held in which the guide will explain everything about this sport.

Then there will be a short walk of approximately two minutes to reach the beginning of the river in which the waterfalls are formed, this scenario is unique and beautiful by its nature. Here waterfalls of different sizes will descend for approximately two hours, in which guided rappelling is practiced in one of the waterfalls, at the end of this there is a natural water slide.

The car waits at the entrance of the waterfall where you can change the clothes, after this incredible adventure, it is time to return to Baños, the arrival time will be around 12:00 pm.

Private transportation, qualified guide, safe adventure, all the equipment to practice sports such as wetsuit, helmets, carabiners, harness and water shoes.
