Last month, Quito’s Bureau of Tourism ("Quito Turismo" in Spanish), honored Bucket as the winner of the Tourism Innovation Contest. The annual contest supports projects aimed to enhance and innovate tourism by providing advice and promotion to top contenders. The Bureau recognized Bucket for its advancement in discounted ticketing, technology, and preferential access to consumers traveling to Ecuador.

 

Along with two other top entries both in the hospitality industry, winners will receive support from Quito Turismo in the implementation and development of the projects, including necessary technical assistance, support in promotion and dissemination locally and internationally. Winning this contest will help Bucket propel into South America’s growing tourism sector, giving a local network and platform for promotion, with a potential for heightened visibility to outside markets.
